Purchase of an 84-acre gentleman's farm for a limited development. Property has an historic main residence dating back to the 1700s, as well as a horse barn and stable, kennel etc. With over a ¹/₂ mile of river frontage on the Ipswich River and close to a 1/2 mile of stone walled road frontage this scenic property faced significant pressure for a large "maximum" (32-lot) development prior to its purchase.

LRA stepped in and purchased the property and working with abutting landowners permanently preserved 45 acres of open fields, (seen below) as well as the entire ¹/₂ mile of direct river frontage on the Ipswich River as well as all the street frontage.This property will continue to have open trails for horseback riding through the fields and woods. Development is very heavily restricted to 6 new house lots set back in the woods away from open fields.
